talking to moser for my 69mach1 408w and they say i should go with 31 spline instead of there 28 spline, thinking of buying a whole 3rd member from them with 3.70 gears and 31 spline traction lock,$1365.00 for rear and $380.00 for axles, i have 3.50 posi with stock axles does this sound ok i like moser's stuff, anybody need a 3.50 posi rear, new stuff inside was rebuilt not long ago

That new Moser set-up would be great. Kinda pricey but you'd never have to worry about it. Your old 28 splined 3rd member is valuable too, they are getting rare. Another option would be to get a 31 splined 3rd member from a pick-up truck with trac-lock. Good luck,

I believe they use precision gears. Turn around was fairly quick but it was a while ago that I bought it. I also bought a top loader from him. I run 11's with slicks in a 69 mach and have not had one failure. I also street drive the car.

David Kee is very easy to talk with. I would give him a call, talk about your options and then decide.
