Alex, did Edelbrock produce a copy of the small block Shelby Ram Box cross ram intake?A friend has an edelbrock "8X" cross ram that is in nice shape and looks evil just sitting on the workbench and would even look better on one of my cars Can you or any other Ford fans shed some light on this?
thanks,popeye

Yes Edelbrock made a 2 x 4 cross ram intake for a SBF.
No, it did not resemble the Shelby Ram Box in any way.
It was a high, single piece casting that resembled a similar unit designed for the small block ****vrolet. It also required a special off set distributor.
It is worthless for performance, but does look pretty cool.
