I am sure this has been discussed here before but I can't find it using "search"....
Are the '71 to '74 351W blocks superior to the later truck blocks?
In other words, what should I look for in a junk yard?
BTW I need the 9.5 deck, so I'm ruling out the '69 block....

Ideally, a 68-72 block would be my first choice, but through 78 would be acceptable.
