I am looking to put a modular type engine in place of my 347,so I need to get rid of my shock towers in my 68.
I was told I can run mustang 2 suspension.
Has anybody done this or seen it done?
I have never seen a mustang 2 suspension set up.Can any show me some pictures?

Its kinda easy to do away with the shock towers but still use the stock upper and lower a-arms..........remove the shock and spring, replace with a coil-over shock.....attach the coil-over to the LOWER arm....so it extends through the upper a-arm....and then fabricate tabs off of the frame to attach the top of the coil-over.......that way.....you can remove the shock towers and have more clearance in the engine bay............(btw)....this is BASICALLY what a Mustang 2 set up is like....only you don't actually remove anything but the stock shock and tower.....Good Luck!!!
