Finally got the used Weld Alumastars(set of 4) wed morning. They came with 14.5x32 firestones(old) with some life still in them.Rear wheels are15'x14"s with the 6.5"I THOUGHT I needed, but will have to trim a little off the botom front of the wheel opening but not a big deal.Fronts are15x3.5 s.Had to let the air out of the slicks to get em on and did'nt have to disconnect the shocks for more room Still looking a Toilet though

So.........

Ya gonna have this hotrod done this summer?

I need to find someone to race that I actually might have a chance of beating.

With the price of diesel the way it is, I may have to race at Cordova more this year. Better get my sand filters working.

We might have it ready to make a few shakedown passes and make sure every thing is where should be before the paint goes on.
As far as a race with the falcon...I need just a bit more seat time like a half dozen weekends to start And you got that right on the sand ...big time
BTW Jason is here with his girls and says you better have a bottle LOL

He don't need no steeenkin bottle. It's injected. All he has to do is change pills and add Nitromethane.

Yeah, that'll happen. At $900 a drum, I don't think so.

The gas guy at Eddyville sells quarts of 50%. That in a 5 gallon jug of alky should make about 5%. They claim that's good for a couple of tenths.

Low 10s are fast enough for an old geezer anyway!

You don't need a whole drum. Klotz sells it by the gallon jug. http://www.klotzlube.com/

Hey Popeye,

I am taking off a set of Goodyear 14 x 32s that have some rubber left on the tread. If you want em, come get em.

I took the wheels off today and will have the slicks changed sometime this week.
