I put a 1" 4-hole spacer on my engine to get the carb off the manifold and away from heater hoses. The car stills runs and revs up fine while parked, but once your driving it and are under load, now it hesitates when you go from part to full throttle, like pressing the gas pedal has little effect. Do I need to go up a few jet sizes? It has 68 in the primaries and 76 in the secondaries currently. I'm thinking of trying 70s in the primary side first. Is it normal for a spacer to have a large effect like that?? I checked for vacuum leaks. Thanks.
