Looking at buying a ford style cast iron T-10. Any info on these? Are they crap or good stuff? It'll be going into a 66 coupe with a fairly healthy 302.

Well...I dont really know, I'm on a budget for a little while. How much do you want to get for them? The only trade material I have is a pair of C9VE 429 heads, a couple holleys and a performer 289 intake. I bought a pair of "toploaders" a while back but found out that the one I thought I would use is actually a 3 speed with overdrive. The other is a real toploader (HEH-G) but it wont fit my application. Let me know how much you want.

The T-10 is not a bad 4speed, but the toploader is better. SteveW

My cousin never broke his alum. case T-10 in a 389 c.i. big pontiac. A T-10 will be fine if you have less than 350 pound feet, street tires and a modest weight car. However, when worn out they will jump out of gear when you let off the gas. You might be able to switch the tailhousing on your toploader and make it fit. Speak with David Kee about that.
