We are using a very lite BHJ balancer on our zero balanceed 302. The above balancer is for a 289 application (3 Bolt and 289 Timing Marks)and requires a 289 timing pointer instead of our 302 or 5.0 pointer. Anyone able to point us in the right direction. we can make a home made version if we have too. Thought maybe you 289 S/S guys could help us. Thanks, Andy

Good balancer Andy. To the best of my knowledge, ATI is the only one who offers adjustable timing pointers for SBF's. They are very nice and very expensive.Alex ------------------ Alex Denysenko Co-Administrator and Moderator NHRA/IHRA/SRA member and licensed Superstock driver MCA member# 53321 NHRA and IHRA SS/LA & SS/MA National Record Holder '00,'01,'02,'03,& '04 First SS/MA in the TENS! Alex did you make your own? I was looking at the ATI and the way the pointer is made. It appears as if it is only made for the right side of the motor. Please correct me if I am wrong but don't the 289's have their pointers on the drivers side? Thanks again

Summit sells the new FRPP adjustable pointers .. 10 o clock or 11 oclock. JEGS sells their own brand, I think they're both pretty new.

Andy, I just bought a Billet timing pointer for a SBF off Ebay for $35. A guy CNCs them himself and they are VERY high quality. If you are interested let me know and I will shoot you his email. Steve Strain.
