whats the best manifold for these stroker motors which mine is a 408w, im reading that the rpm air gap is just as good as a vic jr manifold and better down low which i need it most because most of my driving is under 5000 rpms, i know that the vic jr is a great manifold for higher rpms, my 408 does have the vic jr now but im thinking of maybe trying both and see where they compare, i had the stealth on before i rebuilt the motor and still was making power up to 6000 rpms, hum anybody care to discuss this, i have a loose converter 10'' with 3000 or more stall from JPT, just wondering if the dual plain would be better for my combo, thanks.

Your rear end gearing, camshaft profile and vehicle weight will factor in as well. Try asking JPT?------------------ 1965 GT coupe, 333ci aluminum headed/solid cammed stroker, four speed, 3.70:1 9" All Blue Oval, no blue bottle http://mustangsandmore.50megs.com/V8Thumper.html
