First off, I know what most of you guys are thinking, what the hell do you want one of them for, right? Well we are going to run the 10.90 class and we are going to need on to slow the Falcon down a tid bit. I want an electric one over the air cuz its just too much pain in the rear to string air lines ect. This is our first encounter with a throttle stop, and we also have a Deadenbear RTD7 delay box. I was curious if any of yous guys run a throttle stop, which one you use, how you control it ( elec. or air), and all that happy crap. I appreciate all of your help. Thanks, Steve Strain.

Not yet, but if all goes well this year, I will be running one next year. I'm going to try and physically slow the car down to make the 7 flat break first.

The only dis-advantage I have heard to electric stops is, when they come back on, they open real fast, and if the car is high powered, they tend to over power the track. An air unit can be set to open slowly and not "blast" the tires. Personally, I think electric is better just for the simple fact you dont have to fool with an air bottle. I think if you shift by time instead of rpm, and open the stop after the shift, it shouldnt be as prone to spinning the tires.
