Yes, I think the first year was in 1989 or 1990 F150.... That's what I'm using.

Hey Steve, I was just thinking the same thing!!! How ironical and stuff. I had a dumbass attack yesterday and when I pulled the distributor to put the intake on, the pump shaft came with it and the jesus clip fell into the pan. At least the bullit is still on the stand and there is no oil in it yet, so back apart it comes and I ordered a pan gasket from our local Ford dealer that sponsors us. I should have it Wednesday. Would you like me to share my thoughts with you on it? Steve Strain.

SteveS, yes please. Everyone else, thanks for the tips. I was asking for Jason, and for myself in the future. The one piece gasket would be tits for changing the gasket with the engine in the car. SteveW

Steve '66: Unfortunately My local Ford dealer dropped the ball and did not get the gasket ordered, so I am ordering it from Summit and should have it Monday. I will let you know, Steve Strain.

Please dissregard the Fel-Pro number as it is incorrect. It is a teflon rear main seal number.(sorry) The FRPP numbers are correct.------------------ Alex Denysenko Co-Administrator and Moderator NHRA/IHRA/SRA member and licensed Superstock driver MCA member# 53321 NHRA and IHRA SS/LA & SS/MA National Record Holder '00,'01,'02,'03,& '04 First SS/MA in the TENS! Hey Steve I finally found two of them. First is a Napa/Victor number OS 32492 and the second is a Fel Pro number OS 30616 R. The Fel Pro is a Perma Dry gasket and has the crush sleeves in it. The Victor also has the sleeves in it as well and it is their Victo-Tech line which is their top of the line. I just used the Victor gasket and it fit beautifully and stayed in place with no extra bull crap either. Hop this headach of mine has helped you out some. Steve Strain.

Steve, you might use the plastic screw in gasket holders that comes with the one-piece gasket set and then you don't need to use glue or contact adhesive....I only use the spray contact adhesive with cork oil pan gaskets, unless I'm having some kind of unusual problem and then I will stick the gasket to the block and not the pan. They screw into the pan bolt holes and hold the gasket into place... works great too. [This message has been edited by Buster (edited 03-13-2004).]
