Hi. Can you guys tell me if it is possible to add some type of traction deviece such as a t-lock or limited slip to an Open 8" Carrier housing?
If so what is a good one to add and what all parts will I need? thanks!

Sure you can. Traction Lock or Detroit locker.

great! I was under the misconception that the cases were different, and that I would have to buy a different case(more $$). thanks Alex!

I checked out the Randy's Ring and Pinnion site. I'm going to call about the t-loc he has listed for 8" rears. Just so I have a general idea, are these things "bolt in" or will it require special parts that are not included with it? or is this something I have to ask them? thanks
