Because I am building a car to race in the NMRA racing series, I joined the organization this year. I just recieved my first edition of "Race Pages" which is their monthly news magazine.I have been a member of NHRA for many years and get their publication, the "National Dragster". Between their coverage of cars I don't care about (fuel cars, GMPRO stocks, Alcohol cars, and other non-ford stuff) and all the adds which are 90% Chevy parts, I read through it pretty fast. "Race Pages" is overwhelming, it is all about Ford doorslamers, all the adds are Ford related, and the articles are interesting. This month they are featuring racing cylinder heads. It is sized like the old National dragster. Reading the race pages makes me feel like I am in the twilight zone. All those years of reading ND and trying to find Ford nuggets have conditioned me for low expectations. Race Pages is like waking up in Utopia. I recommend joining NMRA if you would like to read about Ford racing and see some hardcore racing adds. John

This may be a stupid question, as it's implies in the name...Is nmra for only mustangs or all fords?

It depends on the class, some are for Fox bodies and newer, some are open to all Fords, some are truck only, some are modular motors only. Go to their website http://www.nmraracing.com/ They have the rules posted there. John

Most of their races are on NHRA tracks. Go to the website and see if there is one near you.I would get the paper just for the adds, these are not the adds you see in magazines, they are geared to racers. John
