Annular boosters are larger and have holes around the inner circumference of the booster where downleg boosters just spray the fuel out in one spot aroung the inner circumference of the booster. The annular boosters spray the fuel into a finer mist, but hurt flow (in equally sized carb bodies)compared to downleg boosters. I like Annular boosters on street cars with single plane intakes. They work great for wide rpm band applications. Many Cleveland guys swear by the 950 annular HP carb.[This message has been edited by Mpcoluv (edited 02-29-2004).] [This message has been edited by Mpcoluv (edited 02-29-2004).]
