These are very "early" (1991) World Product Winsor Jr. heads. The head gaskets were felpro 1011-1. According to "World Products", this is the only gasket "not recomended". The "steam holes" were also not drilled in the block.Could this be the reason the engine was overheating?...Do I need to drill the steam holes as recomended by World Products? Any help/experiene will be appreciated. Thanks, Robert

My first point of inspection would be the head gasket installation. 9 out of 10 SBF over heating issues I diagnos are attributed to flipped head gaskets. Both up instead of one up and one down with the "FRONT" actually at the front.I never ceases to amaze me how many guys think that they are smarter than the gasket manufacturer. ------------------ Alex Denysenko Co-Administrator and Moderator NHRA/IHRA/SRA member and licensed Superstock driver MCA member# 53321 NHRA and IHRA SS/LA & SS/MA National Record Holder '00,'01,'02,'03,& '04 First SS/MA in the TENS! It's not the steam holes. You have another problem.------------------ Alex Denysenko Co-Administrator and Moderator NHRA/IHRA/SRA member and licensed Superstock driver MCA member# 53321 NHRA and IHRA SS/LA & SS/MA National Record Holder '00,'01,'02,'03,& '04 First SS/MA in the TENS!
