I finally got my 67 418w mustang running just the other weekend. I was wondering what spark plug to use? Autolite 32? And what to set the timing at? The car is just a weekend driver. I will be taking it to the track once its broken in. Any other suggestions are appreciated! Here is my combo: Cam flat tappet 246@50 294/544 Dart Sr. 2.05/ 1.60 stage 3 CNC porting Victor Jr. manifold Eldelbrock 750 cfm mechanical just being used for break in. Have a Holley 780dp that has been reworked a bit. Mallory Unilite 10.2:1 CR Hooker 6208s Toploader 430 gears Thanks!

Are they 18mm? Autolite 32 is an 18mm plug.I thought the Dart Sr. used a long reach 14mm plug?

Jason,Right? I'm the worst with names, but I know we've met each other. Alex's choice is one step colder and a racing side gap plug. An excellent choice. Just didn't know what size plug your Dart heads took. Sounds like an cool engine. When will we see it run? SteveW

If you got the AR racing plugs I think the gap is .032 (not sure though since I haven't tried the AR plugs yet), and for plug wires I've had good luck with the Accel 8.8s. I'm sure there are better, but these were easily available and have stood the test of time. SteveW
