What do you guys think about using the header heat wrap. I would like to reduce some under hood heat from the headers. Until I can save up for some hooker super comp coated until then, Does this stuff really work to reduce heat ? Summit has an in store special right now. I can can get enough to do both headers almost to the collectors for $30 it's 2" wide x 100ft Cool IT thermo-tec brand. I know I've heard they hold in some moister and heat which wears out the headers sooner. If they could last for 2-3 years that would give me enough time to buy the better headers. Will the wrap take up a lot more room. The tubes are real close now so will it cause clearence issues. ------------------ SCOOP oddly obsessed with big scoops on little Mustangs 65 coupe,351w,C4,Big Boss 429 hood scoop,8" 3.40 TracLoc. Ok never mind I did a search and found out it's not a good thing. So my next question are the Jackets the cover just the half of the tubes. They go over the tubes and clip on. Would those have the same side effects had damage the headers like the wrap will ?------------------ SCOOP oddly obsessed with big scoops on little Mustangs 65 coupe,351w,C4,Big Boss 429 hood scoop,8" 3.40 TracLoc.
