Guys,
I have noticed that almost everyone likes the centerforce dual friction clutch. How is the street drivability compared to the centerforce II? Pedal effort?
Is the DF worth the $$ over the certerforce II?

I have the Centerforce DF 10.5" (5.0 diaphram type/dowel pins) in the Fastback. This a street car and the clutch is perfect. It's smooth, vibration free, and moderate-to-light pedal pressure. Pedal pressure was important as I have the original 66 clutch linkage and Z-bar setup and I didn't want to overload those components with a "heavy duty clutch".

I used the DF before we went to a c-4 auto. It's worth the extra cash. Glens67 uses one too for several years in his toploader/428 mustang. He loves it and he makes about 300+ passes a year and drives it to the track.

you are just talking about the disk right? not the diaphram plate too i hope. i heard the spec clutch was a good one too, going to try it next year. front seal leaking on my just rebuilt toploader (guy cant put a front seal in anything, including a 9 inch) ruined my hayes clutch which was biting hard at first.
