Any problems with doing this? I would guess titanium is not as hard as steel so would the Ti begin to chafe sending bits of metal into the oil?

Thanks Alex.
I notice some cost a lot more than others. Are the heat treated ones the way to go? (Or are they all heat treated?) The Crower retainers I was looking at that fit my springs cost about $189 or so. Manley has a set for a lot less - around $100. Would it be better to just get the Crowers - a case of you get what you pay for?

Get the ones you can afford.
Just make certain you get the appropriate keepers (valve locks)to fit them.
You may already have some?
