Any problems with doing this? I would guess titanium is not as hard as steel so would the Ti begin to chafe sending bits of metal into the oil?

You can use them with no difficulties.(although I'm sure someone will find a reason not to .) ------------------ Alex Denysenko Co-Administrator and Moderator NHRA/IHRA/SRA member and licensed Superstock driver MCA member# 53321 NHRA and IHRA SS/LA & SS/MA National Record Holder '00,'01,'02,'03,& '04 First SS/MA in the TENS! Thanks Alex. I notice some cost a lot more than others. Are the heat treated ones the way to go? (Or are they all heat treated?) The Crower retainers I was looking at that fit my springs cost about $189 or so. Manley has a set for a lot less - around $100. Would it be better to just get the Crowers - a case of you get what you pay for?[This message has been edited by afret (edited 02-05-2004).]

Get the ones you can afford. Just make certain you get the appropriate keepers (valve locks)to fit them. You may already have some?------------------ Alex Denysenko Co-Administrator and Moderator NHRA/IHRA/SRA member and licensed Superstock driver MCA member# 53321 NHRA and IHRA SS/LA & SS/MA National Record Holder '00,'01,'02,'03,& '04 First SS/MA in the TENS!
