I'm having a very hard time choosing a cam for my car. I've downloaded an "engine analyzer" that people say is pretty accurate, so I'm using it to help me choose. I've put many cams in such as XE262H, XE256H, Performer, M270H, HE268H, and more. At first, the XE256H looked the best, then I put in the performer and it had the same hp and peak tq, but way more tq down low. I just put in the factory gt 271hp cam, and it has the highest tq curve everywhere, and at least 5 more peak hp than any other cam I've put in. Has anybody tried this cam? What do you think about it?

According to engine analyzer:

My current combo:
270 pk tq
193 pk hp
226 average tq
150 average hp

With the ford 271hp cam:
268 pk tq
236 pk hp
239 average tq
169 average hp

Yes, I've used it or one very similar about 20 or 30 times over the years.

Can I get it as a hydrualic cam, or does it only come solid?

Comp 270H is very similar in performance and sound for a "girlyman" cam.
