A little while ago , i asked some question about my backfiring car/Holley. I took the Holley of and replaced it with a Edelbrock..

it ran right awat, so the problem must be within the Holley, i opened it up and found alloy/casting residu... no wonder??

then i ordered a trick-kit, 50cc acc. pump conversion kit, no 69 jets, and a vac. sec ,spring kit..

before i rebuilded it, i shaved of the choke-tower, cleaned up the venturi's ,there was a casting ridge present, sanded it down an polished it again... the put it all back together...

today D-Day... i took the Edlbrk off an on goes the Holley....

fuel level had to be set and the mixture same story..

then on to the street... after a few miles it kept on going better and better, i guessed the plugs were a bit dirty.. i stopped the car and did something i guessed it would never do... from a full stop , floored the gaspedal, and it left leaving a big cloud of burned rubber......finally!!!!!! i can enjoy this thing from the fullest...

i used a carb-setting i got from here, (i think it was Hans Olsson who i got it from. THANX MAN!!! i owe you one!! )which is working out perfectly!!

so thanx again guys..

on a sidenote i still have heared nothing from Holley, i think they are still disgussing my case at the quality department??? , well let wait and see...
