Hi Guys, quick question, When using the Performer RPM heads on a 289, how can I get the comp ratio back up to around 10-10.5:1? The heads have a 60cc chamber, and I'm looking at the ones with the 2.02 intake valves? I had all this worked out a couple of months ago, but have lost it and have been soooo busy its slipped my mind..
I recall I can deck the block flush with the flat-top pistons, but how far can I mill the heads? What head gaskets (its going to be a sort of daily driver so need gasket reliability, and might be running about 150hp of NOS)? I'm going to be running KB flat-tops, a E303 cam and a performer RPM manifold with 600Vac sec (for the moment... till i can afford the weber setup..)

Is that *all* I have to do to up the comp with the KB flatties and 60cc heads? (obviously I'll have to mill the intake a bit to get it all lined back up port wise)
just 60thou and the thin gaskets? no block decking needed?

I assumed that you were planning on, or already had decked the block.
