I have a 68 coupe that I put together as a street car. I used a rear from a 77 Lincoln versilies. It has an Auburn posi with 4.11 gears. This rear is supposed to be 2inches shorter that stock rear.It has disc brakes. My question is has anyone used this rear ? and what size tire and rim can I use. I want as wide as I can go and around 27-28 in. tall. The engine is a 351w bored.030, Stock crank, stock rods, new bearings, Bullet cam .517/.541 @ lifter, Kieth Black Flat top piston, Compression is 11.3-1,block decked, stock heads, new valves,Comp spngs, bronze guides, teflon seals, screw in studs w/guide plates,Harlan & Sharp 1.6 roller rockers, Edlebrock RPM Air Gap intake, and Holley 670 Street Avenger Carb.

The Versailles rear is the same width as a '67/'68 Mustang, so tire/wheel fit shouldn't change.
