Well, I've run heads both ways and equally blown head gaskets =) Well, three ways including the non O'ring setup. However, I REALLY like having my block Oringd and copper head gaskets.... no more blown head gaskets sense then.

If you can, I would recommend Oringing the block and using copper head gaskets.

IMHO, the main concern cutting the Oring receiver grove the head and using wireloc head gaskets is the receiver grove width and depth must be just right, if the depth is too deep, then its like running regular head gaskets.

Now, using copper head gaskets with a Oring'd block crushes the Oring into the gasket and makes a better seal then the wireloc head gasket setup IMO.

However, if youre fuel/air mixture and NOS setup is on the money I dont think you would have a problem no matter what setup you use. Ive only run a max of 150 shot, so I really cant say about the 200 shot. But the only time Ive blown head gaskets is when Ive leaned it out... my fault.

For precisely this reason, some of the big boost turbo guys prefer not o-ringing the heads. They see the headgaskets as a fuse. Usually when a headgasket goes it's because something is wrong with the tune. Better to pop a gasket than to hole a piston or pound out the bearings under detonation.
