Yes, absolutely. Or you can just get a shaft roller rocker system.------------------ Alex Denysenko Co-Administrator and Moderator NHRA/IHRA/SRA member and licensed Superstock driver MCA member# 53321 NHRA and IHRA SS/LA & SS/MA National Record Holder '00,'01,'02,&'03 First SS/MA in the TENS! Very true Alex, after concidering the cost of a stud girdle and the roller rocker it's not much more for a shaft roller rocker setup. I just wish I made that choice before I bought the stud girdle.

?? ?? My stud girdle cost $175, and my Crower rockers cost $390 (if I remember correctly.) Most of the quality shaft systems seem to go for right around a grand. $400 difference is a fair chunk of change in my book.

I also didn't add in the price of the rocker studs and poly locks as well... I don't remember if the rockers come with the locks or not. It's really not that much difference betweent he two anymore if you add everything up between the two.

-- At what RPM level would a shaft rocker system be recommended over a stud mounted? -- Is it true that shaft roller rockers typically require less frequent lash adjustment than stud mounted systems? Ryan

Ryan, we use the term, "set em and forget em" quite a bit around here with the shaft rockers. Of course with dads motor, we buzz it about 9500 or so. We usually check em after every 3 to 5 passes and if we move 1 or 2, its just cause dad is being picky on how the feeler guage is sliding.
