Somewhere I read of a R&P conversion or maybe a swap from another car for a 68 Mustang. Anyone have any info?

WWW.Steeroids.com has a kit that uses the GM J-car rack I think.
The conventional Pinto type of racks cause bump steer due to the mustang suspension geometry. So you need a rack with stationary ends and a moving center to replicate the motion of the drag link. The GM Jcar and maybe Taurus do this along with the Total Control products $2300 power rack.

I'm planning on using alum round track rods with heims.I run a 460 with front sump pan & 8 in engine setback. If I can find something that would work, maybe the Taurus unit? This is a race only car, but still has stock frontend.

I'd like to do this swap on my 74 Comet. The guys at Flaming River told me to measure the distances between the upper control arm mounting points and the lower control arm mounting points and that would determine the width rack I would need. My measurements are 26 1/2" for the uppers and 16 1/2" for the lowers, so what width rack do I need??
