The Holley HP series carb is a dedicated race carb. The 4 corner idle circuits and changable air bleeds can be easily tuned for just about any setup but seem to work well out of the box. The advantages that I have seen over the standard 750 and even the Demon is the HP has much better idle quality and maintains better A/F ratio throughout the full rpm range. I'm running 74/84 jets and making around 440 HP at only 6000 rpms. A 200 shot would put me at 640HP!! Your 351 with larger cam should be even more!

What intake manifold and carb do you use now? I run 12.40 @ 114 in 1/4 mile on 235/60-15 Firestone tires (no n2o, no stickies)with Holley 750 HP. Only ran 12.70 @ 112 mph with 650 and 750 Speed Demon with same 60' times. I get to do some testing when racing season starts again. I will change the Stealth intake to a Victor Jr and see the difference, then swap the TFS heads to AFR 185 (58cc). It should be interesting.

afr 185cc are good for upper rpms.
i have 4150 series 750dp holley and victor jr intake.
what is your max shift point and comp ratio?
in turkey we test our cars at the autobahn.i test it with radials. because of radials incredible slip to 60-70mils.my stall is 2500rpm but i test it in idle 900rpm.i buy bfg drag radials.when i put my carb then test with drag radials and i put it at 2500rpm stall what will happen!

With Drag radials you should run at least 11.5 seconds @ 120 mph shifting at 6500 rpms.

I usually shift it at 6200 with the 268 cam. I use 93 octane (10.2:1). I haven't pushed it very hard for fear I may break into the 11's again. They will make me put a roll bar in the car if that happens. I don't want it in the way and don't want to screw with my new interior. I ride a lot of passengers and family around on special ocassions.
