Since my car is seeing less and less street time and more and more strip time, I thought it was time to pick up a set of drag rims for slicks out back and skinnies up front. I'll be running 26x10.5x15 MT ET Streets so I can still run in street classes. My question is, what's the best value in light weight rims? I don't want old Polara rims on my Ford. A Centerline or equivalent would work and look fine. Any thoughts?

I am sure Alex and Tony would agree, but I am kinda partial to Bogart Racing wheels myself. We have a set of Fly Lites on our 84 Stang, 15x3 front and 15x9 out back ( I believe), and the total weight of all 4 wheel is 36 pounds. Alex and Tony are dealers for them. Ours were reasonably priced, I think around $700- $800 for the set. Very high quality. But they are for race use only. Check them out. Steve.

I had a set of Weld Draglites on my 69. I liked them. Some of the 5 spoke designs \, liek the Bogarts look really good on a 65-66, but the Draglites look perfect on a 69 to me.I had 15X8 or the rear and 15X4 on the front. Went with the 4" vs the 3.5 for a little more strength for the street. Later, after I backhalfed it, I went to a 15X15 on the rear. LOL That's good! The guy that told me to use that song said that a mild mannered George Strait song just wouldn't have the same effect. He was Right, hell it scares me too.
