I have a rpm perforer Edelbrock intake man. # 71211 polished and a novi paxton supercharger box type incloser. my engine builder has talked to paxton. and they are saying my 66 shelby hood wont fit because of hight. talking about plaining the endcloser & and also intake. he dose not want to change intakes because performance. can you guys prove this wrong !

Well, to prove anyone wrong, we need dimensions. How tall is the Paxton bonnet?
How wide? The 65/66 shelby scoop is pretty narrow.
Can you go to a cowl type of hood?

Has he considered the Weiand X-cellerator. It's about 1/2" shorter and supplies the same rpm range. I thought forced induction prefers an open plenum anyway.
