NPD has a power brake conversion booster only for $250. Have any of you tried this? Does it require a pedal change? What do you suggest? I have front discs and rear drum

streetstang, I am wondering about the same thing on my 71 Mach 1. I know it comes with a different pedal, but what I want to know is if it is power assist like my 5.0 or power like the old 70's. I have SSB's front disc conversion and Shelby 2.5 inch drums out back. I want brakes that I can use autocrossing and the old type are too overboosted. Manual now. I think the rod between the pedal and booster is included also. Anyone? Thanks.

NPD sells two types of booster kits, one does not require you to change pedals, one does. I recomend that you change pedals because it is the OEM type, and I bet all your pedal bushings need to be replaced after all these years. Changing the pedal is a massive pain on a 4 speed car though.
