Holley "blue" pumps are fine for 75% of the HP applications. I use(d)them for over 20 years. Very high demand situations would require two of them in parallel. Never tried or installed the Summit "brand" pump, but it sure looks just like the Holley.------------------ Alex Denysenko Co-Administrator and Moderator NHRA/IHRA/SRA member and licensed Superstock driver MCA member# 53321 NHRA and IHRA SS/LA & SS/MA National Record Holder '00,'01,'02,&'03 First SS/MA in the TENS! Although I have heard people badmouth the old Holley GPH110 "Blue" pump, I have been very happy with mine. I`ve had 2 blue pumps on my 428 Fairmont for over 10 years now, never had a problem. I also have a blue on my Mustang, & have had a couple of others over the years. A lot of people seem to think that a BG400 pump is neccasary, but most cars that I see with those are just expensive overkill, in my opinion.------------------ 78 Fairmont 428 4 speed 10.20@130mph 80 Fairmont 302 5 speed 12.8@105mph 85 Mustang NHRA Stocker 302 5speed. 13.04@101mph 59 Meteor (Canadian Ford) 2 dr sedan 332, auto 74 F350 ramp truck 390 4spd
