Is anyone running one of these? I have been searching high and low for the right tranny & this one seems to be the right one, I planned on going with a 3550 but its overdrive gear was lower -numerically & I would like to keep the rpms as low as possible, plus the tko2 has a stronger input shaft than the 3550. What do you all think of them? doh----just thought about something, if the 5th gear is numerically higher it will rev higher wont it, I guess I probably want the TKO with the 0.68 5th gear whereas the TKO II has a 0.82 5th. right?

The regular TKO has the 0.68 5th gear.

The TKO II has the 0.82 5th gear, but it also has larger input and output shafts (along with the required slipyoke) and a significantly stronger 3rd gear. (it's made from much stronger material)

I recently sold a brand new (still in the original box) TKO II for a recently deceased friend, and did a little research on them. It went right away for $1500 'buy it now'. You'll normally pay around $1800-$1900 for one.

Good Luck!
