I was wondering if you guys down shift after you go through the traps at the end of the 1/4 with a C4 and manual valve body? Or, do you just get on the brakes and wait until you turn the corner then go back to first gear. Minor point but I was just curious becasue my car seems to die at the end of the track when I turn the corner, feels like its either out of fuel or loading up.

Ours are reverse pattern, but we'll down shift to 2nd after the car slows, but not first as it freewheels. Usually take the turn off in 2nd gear too.
