I have been chasin and idle problem since I put my car back on the strip. I knew it was a Vac. Leak but it would come and go. Finally found it about a week ago. The Middle butterfly on the hat was Ever so slightly warped. You could not tell it with the naked eye. The way I found it was with a feeler guage and a flashlight. I put the flashlight in the hat behind the butterflies and I had .010 clearance in ONE spot on the center butterfly, the other two fit tight.
I think a rock hit it during the wreck two years ago and I just now found it. When I took it out and layed it on a flat table. it was perfect all the way around EXCEPT in one little spot where you could barely detect it. That was enough to make the car idle funny. They were the wrong color anyway ( RED ) is what came on the hat.
Brand New, hot off the press BLUE anodized butterflies just arrived today. Now I have to take all new pictures of the car because it REALLY changed the looks. Now the butterflies match the paint!
They set me back $80.00 bucks, not bad when you consider everything on a race car is a Ben Franklin nowadays.

Put a 1 gallon ice cream bucket filled with BBQ briquet's on the front floor, rear floor and in the trunk. This will keep the moisture out, stop any mold from forming and keep the car smelling good. Change every 3 months for best results.
