I have a Granada 9 inch. I've desided to ditch the original brakes and use some Wilwood dynalite calipers. I don't want a kit from Wilwood because there sets use 12.9 rotors I want to build my own brackets to fit 11 inch Granada rotors.

So now for my question;
What do I use to seal the axle ends? The original Granada discs had a cast piece that retained the axle and sealed the tube. Other 9" axle have drums and the seal is retained by the backing plate. I guess I could find some Torino backing plates from a drum car? Is there a source for a pre-made deal for this?

Thanks

FRPP catalog has a kit also.

On edit: These are not for Granada discs, but the parts are easy to find.

I guess I wasn't clear in my original question. I have a Granda 9" axle it already has disc brakes. I want to keep the Granada 11" rotors to match the home made Wilwood 11" setup I have on the front.

In circle track catalogs they have brackets you weld to your axle. I plan on using one of those and modifying it to work with the Granada rotor. But once I remove the heavy cast piece that the Grananda uses for the end seal and caliper mount I will have no seal or axle retainer.

Is the small shim looking piece a seal? I guess what I'm not seeing is what retains the end seal? The plate on the end retains the axle and I can fabricate that. I just don't kow what to do for a seal.

if u axle is like my versales u have a seal behind the bearing that seals the grease and a sealed bearing so theo outer seal is basically just a dust seal so make a plate to hold the axle and mostly cover up the bearing should be just fine

Yes, There is a seal behind the bearing and I bought a set of bearings from moser with integral seals. I guess I figured the dust seal was important for axle longevity?
