I`m asking this for a buddy of mine, the car is a street/occasional strip car. It weighs 3,740 with him in it,He has a 351c with flat tops(10.7 to1 comp.),stock 4bl. heads with Harland sharp rockers.Stock crank and rods with 4 bolt mains and all aftermarket hardware ,and a windage tray. He has a Factory Cobra Jet converter which stalls 3,000 rpm ,c-6 with shift kit and a 9" with 3.70 gears and 28" tires. Please give ANY reccomendations you may have (Kid V.,Cleveland style, and others) On what camshaft you reccomend along with any other additions or changes to his set up . As always thanks for your input. ------------------ http://maverickgrabber.iwarp.com

Sounds like a nice setup. I would open up the exhaust ports a little. A 650-700cfm carb and performer intake will work nice. [This message has been edited by 68DARKHORSE (edited 10-10-2003).]

He needs some gears! 4.30s or taller. Those 3.70s won't cut it with a Cleveland in a heavy car, especially with an automatic.I'll let Alex do the cam recomendation... ------------------ '70 Mustang Mach 1 - '70 Mustang Convertible - '72 Mustang Sprint - '94 F-150
