Wondering if I could get some opinions on what to do for a shortblock, I want to build a 392-396 Windsor stroker & there are alot of different companies I could buy a shortblock from & dont know who has the best name & best warranties. Or would it be just better to find my own block ,But I would have it magnafluxed, balanced etc etc etc & that would probably cost more than an an assembled shortblock, Although, if the purchased shortblock blew up It would cost me another engine, Doing my own block gives me the true facts & peace of mind knowing nobody made any little screwups. What to do.
