I'm buying a short block 351w stroker for my 68 and need information on what oil pans, flex plate and headers will work on the new motor in my car. Motor is going in a 68 coupe currently with a 289. Also new motor will have trick flow twisted wedge heads. Car has a stock C4 tranny. Also any information on whether my current altenator, power steering and water pump will work with the new block would be great too. Next step is tranny/rear end work. Any suggestions on tranny shops and opinions on a 8" rear handling 450hp with a locker/hardened axels are appeciated. Thanks, don ------------------ 68 Mustang Coupe

Alternator bracket is different, everything else should bolt up, headers I used came from FPA, they fit perfect , even with the clutch linkage, I highly recommend them. www.fordpowertrain.com------------------ Stuart MCA #48902 M&M #1091 67 stang 5 speed, 351W, Edelbrock Performer RPM package my photo page
