USA Registered: Aug 2002	posted 10-06-2003 07:27 AM I have built a 393 stroker with JW powerglide and I am having a problem with stock starters (Autozone 3524A). I was wondering if anyone could give me the part# for a mini-starter that will work with this configuration. I have bought a Autozone part number 3205S but, the nose is .150 to shallow. Please help. Registered: Mar 2002	posted 10-06-2003 08:03 PM I use the CVR gear reduction starter. $180.00 not cheap but it has a life time guaranty on it. Send it to them and they send you another one free. I had one go out after 5 years and they sent me a brand new one. I bought a spare to keep in my trailer.
