I have a Granada 9 inch axle. I plan on keeping the 28 spline axles. I bought a truetrac differential and a strange aluminum case with 3.062 bearings. I plan to buy an aluminum Daytona pinion support.

I already purchased a Richmond differential instalation kit. The kit part number is 83-1011-1 which is for a Ford 9" 28 spline.

I checked the bearing sizes for the pinion and differential and discovered they will not work.

I'm looking at other kits and anything that specifies a 3.062 also specifies 31 spline axles. Does the inner diameter change on the differential when the spline count changes?

I think I can use a P/N 83-1005-1 which is a 3.062 case and daytona support. Will it fit my differential?

There are really only two common 9" carrier sizes, the 3.062 that you have making up the vast majority. Axles do get larger as the spline count goes up and 3.062 is good up to 31 spline, you need 3.25 for 35 spline or larger. The parts you are talking about should work fine.
