I like a full face helment, lots of folks won't wear one in a car, but they should. make sure it has an up to date snell rating. I like the HJC helments myself. I got mine at helment city. ------------------ JS 69 Mustang Pro ET Drag

It's just like motorcycling, you have to get a helmet that fits well. Otherwise it's a distraction. Try a bunch on before buying.

I had a full face snell that somebody stole from out of the 65 fastback at the 1/4 drags about 1 month ago. It really pi$$`s me off that somebody who enjoys the same pass time and hobby as we do would rip-off my helmet, they had to have a racers or pit pass to access the pit parking area where my car was. I was very fortunate to have another fellow there lend me his helmet so I could race, he took off before me and gave me his address and said he trusted me to bring it back to him when I was done with it. I had never met him before yet he trusted me. It did make it back to him, but not the same way I got it, it had a case of beer attached to it when I gave it back. If anybody has a spare decent one for sale that you don,t want a bunch of money for let me know.------------------ JOHN 65 2+2 FASTBACK 87 TAURUS WAGON 98 F150 XLT TRITON V8 4.6, 4 WHEEL DRIVE Member:Vancouver Island Mustang Association M&M #1710 MyPhotoPage MY TRUCK

Bell, open face. Alex and I both. Couldn't imagine having a closed face one. Too claustraphobic for me.------------------ Beth Head Cheerleader for Moneymaker Racing! "My best friend is the one who brings out the best in me." - Henry Ford (for Alex) Alex & Beth's Homepage MoneymakerRacing.com

not sure what kinda helmet i got. its kinda like the ones worn in easy rider. certainly before mr. snell was born. i painted flames over the gaudy black orb and a skull/crossbones in front with "you r next" underneath. probably get a snell sticker for it next year.------------------ 306, 4speed, 4.11's....best 1/8 mile 7.58 at 92mph with 1.72 60ft.
