3" collectors coming off the headers, should i get reducers right after the headers, or should i reduce after an h or x pipe so the pulses are balanced before being forced into a different tube. Thrush 45" glaspacks will finish off the exhaust.

Or should i go full 3" all the way to the back, and use different mufflers?

the rest of the combo will be a warm street 351W, 270H cam, Hedman tork step headers, Rpm air-gap intake, holley 670 Street Avenger, MSD digital 6 plus ignition, & warmed up stock heads for now

I will have cutouts on the car or unbolt the collector flange for racing, so it doesn't need to be "the best" for flow, i just would like to know if bottlenecking it down to 2.5" at the collectors, after h pipe, or right before muffler would make much difference to flow or sound

If you are planning on 3" exhaust, I would at least go 3" to the muffler and then maybe 2.5" after the muffler. The exhaust gases will have cooled a lot by that point and the pipe size can be reduced.
