was offered one for $30 including lifters

what other mods to my otherwise stock valvetrain would i need to do in order to use this cam?

you will need the roller lifters from crane with the link bar on top..thats the best way to go..bruce

darn, forgot it would be a roller cam, how much would it be to retrofit my 74 351W with roller lifters?

could i use the lifters he sends me and get a retrofit kit somehow to use those?

no you cant use those lifters with that cam now you can use those lifters with a small base circle cam (retro cam) and the spyder assembly then you have to drill and tap the block for two 1/4-20 bolts.and hope you dont hit a cam bearing ( Dont ask How I know)lol.This is what I am running And It would be easier to run a $300 set of link roller lifters than to machine and jump through the hops I did and my cams cost 300 each for the retro roller cam..

if i need to spend $300 on lifters i think i'll just get a flat tappet sometime, just thought this was was cheap enough it would be good if it could work for not too much extra
