wow..... it bites when you line up with your best track-grrlfrinn in the second round!!!

yup!!

saturday nite the most beautiful two red mustangs you could ever imagine had to jam each other down the track!!!

we had a double-break-out at the stripe.....

i dialed in 7.95 and lifted to a 7.934 @ 86.899 MPH while shell dialed a 7.27 and hit a 7.263 @ 93.514 at the line..... grrlfrinn suffered the lesser of the two break-outs and took it to third round!

the *only* best part was knowing that after THAT round, ONE of us was going to crack open a frosty yummy bottle of ~something~ and start enjoying the evening in a different sort of way...... just so happens... it was ME!!!

we are off this weekend, and back to the track on the 23rd!

Alex and Tony BOTH had good friends first round last weekend. I HATED it! I know, I know, it's part of racing. The price you pay when you have a lot of friends, but I still hated it! (Hated even worse when Alex lost . . . but at least it was to a friend!)

Good job grrrrls!

KK you should've given her the stripe at the last possible moment. (sorry, but I arm chair q.b. my daughter too) Driving the stripe could've been the win light in your lane. Not that I have anything against Shell.

kk,

It has to be tough racing against Shell and your Dad! They have had a lot more seat time than you have lately. And the 1/8 mile tracks you race on don't give you much time to think about what to do at the stripe.

Glad you're having FUN, just don't hog the stripe. I tell Melissa to take the stripe (but not by much) and if she can't catch the other car (dump them and hope they break out). I know, it's easy from the pits.

Shell's good, maybe she saw you dumping her and dumped you back.
