I also had this posted in the classic mustang section but thought I might get more info here. I kind of think Alex said on another post that in order to change a column shift C6 to a floor shift that I would have to swap valve bodies. Are the valve bodies different or is it only the manual shift shaft? If this is the way to do it then I guess on the C6 I would have to do it. If it's only the shift shaft then I might not have to pull the valve body let alone swap it.

Valve bodies are the same. The shift levers are different. The floor shift lever point straight up and the column lever points down. You have to remove the valve body to replace it.------------------ Alex Denysenko Co-Administrator and Moderator NHRA/IHRA/SRA member and licensed Superstock driver MCA member# 53321 NHRA and IHRA SS/LA National Record Holder '00,'01,'02,&'03 First SS/MA in the TENS! Is it the whole assemble or just that stamped steel part that the linkage connects to? quote: Originally posted by Moneymaker: Valve bodies are the same. The shift levers are different.
