I finished file fitting my top rings today, and on a few of the rings the ends were not perfectly Square, they were a bit crooked (I cant see how this would cause any problems, but i could b wrong). I would square the ends of these rings up but i am worried about the gap being too wide.
I am using Kieth Black Hyper. Pistons.

What do you guys think i should do?

As long as you are not talking about a 45 degree angle leave the gaps set and just de-burr the filed edge with a fine stone.
