I measured my crankshaft endplay with a dial indicator by prying the crank forward as far as it would go and i got .005 maybe a touch more, does that sound ok to everyone?

Are you supposed to pry the crank forward s far as i will go?

please help me out thanks.

Yes,

Pry the crank forward and back to get the readings on the dial indicator. If it's too tight loosen the center main and pry it forward then torque the cap back on to make sure it's square. Then check again.
