1969 351 windsor block, stroked to 393 .030 over, Eagle rods, forged pistons, bottom end girdled. Pocket ported Vic Jr heads 205/160 1.6 ratio rockers The math comes out to 8.8:1 comp ratio. 1 5/8 primary Hooker comp headers-3" mandrel bent exhaust. Edelbrock performer RPM dual plane manifold port-matched. Modified 750cfm 4150 holley Centrifugal supercharger at 8lbs boost. 3550 Tremec transmission- 373:1 gear ratio. 16" tires Primarily street driven Currently running Crane Hydraulic roller with specs as follows: 224/232 @ .050 542/563 112 LSA My opinion is that the cam duration is slightly small for the displacement. The engine makes great power, but we feel there is more available without increasing boost. There's PLENTY of valve/piston clearance if 1.7 rockers were installed. Any camshaft suggestions? Would prefer a hydraulic roller.
