I recently saw a photo of a set of 351C headers that had all of the primary tubes exit under the body in a side by side arrangement with a wide flat "Duck Bill" type of collector.
The potential for good ground clearence seems great.
Anybody know anything about these headers?
Were mustang versions ever produced?
The collector flange was 4-bolt BTW.

I run Hedmans like that on my FOX chassis. The tubes are routed differently, but the same style collector. No reason other than the fact that I could get them quick. They seem to work well. Nice, thick head flanges. Good quality.

They sure aren't for anything with a stock chassis, except maybe Pantera. The tubes go right down where the motor mount and steering would be on any Mustang,Fairlane,Falcon,Maverick,Galaxie or any other normal car

They made headers like that for the Pro Stock Pintos years ago. MAybe they are designed for a motor plate instead of mounts.

My friend has a set of 351c headmans in a late mustang with the flat collector.Im blameing them for the distribution problems he is plagued with.4/8/6 run extremely leaner than the others

I haven't looked at the link you posted, but Hedman made Pinto and M-II swap kits using this style of collector. I ran one on a Pinto with a Cleveland in it.
