currently run 11.80's qtr. is there any hidden power to be found in switching from gear drive to chain?
adding a windage tray?
milling intake so top of cylinder head doesen't protrude into intake path?

if so how much hp/et do you think can be found

Alex will step in, but I remember him saying once during testing he found a gear drive cost about 5-10 hp over a chain.

Is that right, Alex?

not to mention the harmonic transfer from the crank to the cam from the two being linked together with solid pieces..and the friction loss of that kind of setup.and the noise..no thank you true roller double timing sounds much better since i cant afford the belt drive.Bruce

I hear from different sources that windage trays can be worth up to 20hp but Im sure it depends on what kind of sump you are running and how much oil you have in it. My buddy runs a rear drop sump and runs 4 qts oil in it, so he probably wouldnt benefit as much as I would with my street driven car with its front drop sump and 5 quarts of oil

it's been port matched but head to manifold allignment is off by a little. heads have been milled a few times
